Introducing our new account manager: Sarah Evans

The  Envolve Tech team has grown again! Sarah Evans has recently joined us as our new dedicated account manager.

Sarah has eight years experience as an account manager in a variety of different industries, and will soon be helping our growing list of clients maximise sales and get the best from their Digital Sales Assistants.

Originally from New Plymouth, New Zealand, Sarah got her first experience interacting with clients as an electricity salesperson in the Australian outback. After driving twelve hours between sales opportunities, she learned the importance of making the most out of every customer interaction! She has carried that dedication to good customer service with her ever since.

A dual national, Sarah moved to Bristol in the UK thirteen years ago, and has since made the South West of England her permanent home. After working as a temp at a design firm, she was soon hired to handle strategy and account management, and has worked as an account manager ever since.

Sarah also has a growing profile as a professional food influencer. Her Instagram account, @sarahingram1, features hundreds of photos of her cooking and has over 19 thousand followers. A new, second account, @saraheatsbristol, documents over a hundred amazing meals she has enjoyed in Bristol’s restaurants and cafés.

Envolve Tech is the first tech company Sarah has worked for, and so far she is enjoying the change.

“The role is very similar to what I’ve done in other industries,” she says. “There is some new terminology to learn, but developing good client relationships is very similar in any type of business.

“Joining a startup just as it is really taking off is very exciting, but I must admit beginning a new job during a time when everyone is working from home has been a bit unusual. Everyone in the Envolve Tech team has been super nice and relaxed, though, and I’ve been made to feel very welcome. I’m really looking forward to getting to know our clients now.”

Envolve Tech CEO Emma Smith is thrilled to have Sarah join the team, and says having a dedicated account manager is an important milestone for the company:

“Sarah is a great addition to the team and we are really delighted to have her join us. She makes the second new hire for Envolve Tech this month, along with our new Head of Partnerships Dan Amarquaye.

“As a rapidly growing startup, it is a great moment when you have the opportunity to expand out the team and have someone dedicated working on client relationships. We are also really excited to have someone with Sarah’s marketing and design skills on board, as well.

“And, of course, once we can all meet in person I’m hoping she might cook something for us! The dishes on her Instagram feed look amazing!”
