By using Convert Abigail Ahern were able to automate a huge amount of responses to everyday questions around delivery, product types and used this information to personalise responses alongside relevant marketing content. 

After analysing the data we began to see queries around certain categories at different times, so we were able to hone responses to show specific responses around these times, directly related to questions asked. We complimented questions around paint to accessories for example. The results like the responses, were instant.

We used data to analyse Abigail Aherns frequently asked questions and used these as a base, whilst the AI began to learn common themes. This meant a high accuracy in the relevance of the responses and a more personalised answer allowing us to deliver related and products.

How we went about solving the issue

Customers began using the technology instantly, for both every day queries around products to details questions around specific products such as ‘what types pf paint can I use in my living?” In the first month we saw open rates of 60% with click through rate (CTR) of 50%. 19% of users are clicking marketing content which is served alongside a textual response, which then converted at 15% overall. 

Initially we were measuring engagement and adoption, but the focus quickly became a blend between conversion and click through.

The results

Delivering sales through chat
Convert has proven to be a successful channel in driving new sales form new visitors, as well as maintaining engagement with existing customers with no extra workload for the Abigail Ahern marketing team. They are now seeing incremental sales, without any cannibalisation from other affiliate traffic.
