Beauty Flash were trying to further personalise their performance marketing campaigns, achieving assisted sales using an automated recommendation tool, driven through customer conversations.

The key was measuring the engagement level of the channel and it’s cut through as a marketing tool, taking stress away from customers using contact forms, email and phone with limited resources.

A primary challenge was introducing a new platform where beauty flash can use conversations to drive sales and engagement, and move away from the stigma of being a customer service channel. Using AI to respond to queries meant setting expectations and goals in engagement metrics, firstly getting customers to use the channel and then assess the metrics and begin to drive further adoption by delivering the right content with a confidence level of over 90%.

How we went about solving the issue

Instant responses with automated content delivered through relevancy immediately took strain away from internal teams, and began answering customer questions with contextually relevant responses. For example: Customer ‘what skin care products do you have?BF - We have a huge range depending on your skin type, have a look through here and get back to us with any further questions you have!

To begin, it was a simple set up for Beauty Flash, which we apply to all affiliates. We take your FAQs and content feed and ingest into our system, ensuring each link, image or piece of content is tracked through your network, ensuring the platform fits with your brand guidelines with agreed objectives, measurables and metrics.

We then deploy some JavaScript through your network or tag management system and begin testing, before pushing live. The whole process can be done within 1 week.

We then work closely with Beauty Flash to retrain the Ai continually, growing the amount of questions it can answer and increasing the overall accuracy of response.
